Mona-Maria is Managing Director and Partner at Birn+Partners Finland. She has worked in business development and sales roles for over 30 years, including more than 20 years as a CEO in various companies. She has built her career primarily in the fields of consulting, pharmaceuticals, biotech, as well as in leadership roles within sales, marketing, and communications.

She is an experienced consultant with extensive experience in executive search for C-level and specialists. She has been involved in mentoring and coaching, as well as managing interim business since 2001.

Throughout her career, Mona-Maria has successfully conducted over 500 executive searches, primarily in pharmaceutical, biotech, renewable energy, FMCG, manufacturing, construction, health care and public sector. In the field of life sciences alone, she has successfully completed over 160 executive search assignments. Additionally, she has facilitated coaching and mentoring programs for more than 130 managers and supervisors.

Mona-Maria possesses a deep understanding of various organizational cultures and corporate business. Her services at Birn+Partners encompass executive searches, FIRST100 onboarding, leadership recruitment, personnel assessments, organizational development, corporate consulting, mentoring, coaching, as well as career guidance and outplacement services.

Having lived many years in Denmark, Mona-Maria handles assignments in Finnish, Swedish, English, and Danish. She has previously worked for various Nordic companies. Delivering high-quality service, fully understanding the client’s needs and achieving results that exceed expectations are sources of great satisfaction for Mona-Maria in her recruitment work. One highly important aspect for her is improving employer branding, focusing on DEI and ESG and leadership development.
